Who is on the MLB Logo?
According to MLB, nobody. But somehow a story that it was Harmon Killebrew came out.
It is no one.
Chris creamer
silhouetted batter logo
a right-handed player
Fozzy the bear from the Muppet Show. Seriously…..
pete rose, the best hitter ever.
A man with a bat and only his silhouette
The name of the man it unknown(to me)
The MLB logo: No one player has ever been identified as the model of the logo. (1)
Common Folklore suggests that the silhouette of Harmon Killebrew swinging a bat is the official logo of Major League Baseball. (2)
Having seen Killebrew play, I can say it does look an awful lot like him . . . and not Pete Rose.
NOBODY.
Officially it is just a generic batter, but popular rumors persist that it is Killebrew or Rose.
Long believed to be a silhouette of Harmon Killebrew the logo of Major League Baseball is actually not meant to be based off of any player in particular. The logo was actually originally designed for and used as the 100th Anniversary logo for MLB.
Jose Offerman?
a Baseball Slugger hitting the Ball.
Dontrelle Willis swinging
It looks like nobody, but it is really Harmon Killebrew.
Abner Doubleday, the founder of baseball
nobody
