You can never say never, new ownership does wonders for teams. If someone that really wants to put a winner on the field takes over one of those teams anything can happen.

The White Sox just won a World Series 5 years ago.

The Cubs and Astros both have payrolls over $100 million, they are just signing the wrong guys to big deals.

But hey, don’t be so down on Chicago since you could be getting a Stanley Cup tonight.

I would say that in 100 years, any team could possibly contend. They could make some good moves on the free agent market and trade market, get some high draft picks after a tough year and in the next ten years, they could be contenders. That is what the Nationals are doing right now. I don’t think that in 2 years they will win a World Series, but I do think that in 5 or 10 years, they could contend. I would not rule out any of these teams. I will bet that every one of them will eventually win a World Series in the future.

well the orioles was always a pretty good until the last 25 years and the rest will probably get there except for maybe the cubs the are the curse of baseball
