		<description>Long believed to be a silhouette of former Twins great Harmon Killebrew the logo of Major League Baseball is actually not meant to be based off of any player in particular. The logo was actually originally designed for and used as the 100th Anniversary logo for MLB. During the 1969 season all players wore the logo on their sleeves to celebrate the centennial season. In 1970 the logo began being used to identify the leagues and has been in use ever since.</description>
