How Many Original MLB Teams are Still in Their Original Cities?

Okay I have a little bet with my brother. How many original Major League Baseball teams are still their original cities? By this I mean teams that were in the AL and NL the years the leagues were founded?

Here is what I have:

AL: Chicago White Sox, Boston Red Sox, NY Yankees, Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Indians.
NL: Chicago Cubs, Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds, St. Louis Cardinals.

I thought the Pittsburgh Pirates might be in there, they have been together many years. But no. They were started playing several years after the NL was founded.

I have to ask an opinion on the following rosary.

Red and Blue beads for the aves
Baseballs beads for the Paters
St. Jude center
Cubs emblem in place of the crucifix

no - not a cubs fan - a gift my brother prepared for a friend.

And the rosary is simply a counting device. its design doesn’t prevent the proper meditation.

The rosary beads are the colors of the Chicago Cubs. the Baseball beads and the emblem tying it closer to the Cubs. And St. Jude is the patron of lost causes or the impossible.

Which MLB teams are so bad that they will never be contenders?

What are the MLB teams that are so bad and awful that even if you lived to be 100 years old, they will never be contenders.

- Chicago White Sox
- Chicago Cubs
- Milwaukee Brewers
- Kansas City Royals
- Baltimore Orioles
- Houston Astros
I noticed that the owners of these particular teams have absolutely no intrest in fielding a .500 team let alone a playoff contender. If they just want to suck money out of people’s pockets then why dont they just become an Illinois politician

I am for sure, my top 2 teams would be, and they be the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox. And I know people that cheer for both teams, that are either fans of the Cubs or White Sox, or more like White Sucks.
