I mean the style of a baseball jacket. Not just a jacket with a baseball team logo.

I want to do a Spring sport for my SR. year. I did track last year but got terrible shin splints that resulted in stress fractures. For conditioning for Track this year I got shin splints again *sigh* and was told by our Athletic Trainer that because of my flat feet and the way my feet roll some what when I run I will keep getting shin splints unless I greatly develop my shin muscles. (have been trying to)
Sooo I have really been thinking I don’t want to do track. 1. shin splints. 2. For my event 99% of the kids trying out are better then me lol.

Some friends of mine on the baseball team want me to come out for baseball. Note, I have Never played it before though. I played T-ball when I was like 7 but I don’t even remember playing it.

I don’t want to look like a complete idiot out there trying to hit a baseball and swinging all spastically…though only a few people on the team *look* like they are good in baseball lol.

I don’t know a thing about baseball either, I watch it…but I don’t know all the slogan and techniques and what not.

I’d make the team. Our school don’t cut kids in sports if they aren’t good enough, they just might not get playing time or will be on JV.
Our baseball team is also pretty thin on players.

If some of ‘em r, they should no that they pulled off a astonishin’ upset over the Dominicans, 3-2, last Sat. But I still have a strong skepticism of Holland being intrigued by this along w/ many European countries. I still remember a old Nike commercial w/ the slogan "Don’t like baseball? Move to Norway." I also read a article earlier about purchases of baseball bats in the UK but I think they were used as melee weapons or something like that. A thumbs-up for any Dutch answerers who are or ain’t interested in the WBC or perhaps for any ex-pats in the Netherlands.
U’no, I guess I do have 2 consider the Netherlands Antilles & Aruba regarding the Dutch baseball team. Of course, if all players from Holland & its territories have 2 play on 1 national team, shouldn’t the Puerto Ricans b playing for the U.S. team? One case in point is the U.K. Olympic team where the English, Welsh, N. Irish, & Scots play under one team. However in the World Cup, those four subdivisions can play separately.

My dad has to make a slogan in English for his baseball team. I just wonder if "thinking baseball" makes sense as a correct English. He means "Play baseball using their brain" but wants to get it shorter as a slogan. I’m not an English native speaker… Please somebody help!

I’m in Diamond Darlings at my school, and we pretty much support the baseball team, work in the concession stand, and we decorate the school / the players lockers.
We also have a secret player, and we make them a sign and tape it to their locker, and we also provide 1 clue every sign to who we are.
Me, and 5 other girls had to get coaches because they ran out of players, we were in the back of the line.] In all, its over 40 guys, including Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Freshman.
We reveal ourselves at the banquet at the end of the year.
So Wednesday we have to turn in all our signs/clues.
I was thinking of going to Hobby Lobby and get some baseball stuff and glue it to some construction paper with a slogan and my clue on it.

So, my question is, what can the slogans be ? [Btw, we are the BULLDOGS]

My sons baseball team, the Dodgers, are going to be playing in a very important baseball tournament. I need your help to think of a catchy slogan I can get embroidered on my 2 year olds onesie that says she is cheering on her brother. Something like “My brother is a Dodger All Star” (I don’t really like that, but you get the idea). Do you have any ideas for catchy/cute/funny slogans I can have embroidered on her onesie?
