to me a sport isn’t an activity that boils down to sitting on the bench with a towel around your neck for 99% of the final two minutes of a game when it’s a close nail biter
if a real sport is tied or very close near the end of the game the atheletes are sweating vomit for the final minutes of the game, not anointint their brows with Gatorade emblem emblazoned towels while their coaches get into a tactical chess game of 50 plays lasting .1 seconds each
just ook at the difference between a Stanley Cup playoff game in the final two minutes in a game separated by one goal, or close, and an NBA playoff game with a close score in the final two minutes and you should see that to which I refer
if basketball and baseball are considered sports then why isn’t croquet?
ok this isn’t a fair assessment - I just find the USA’s preoccupation with basketball rather absurd, same with baseball
Every year, MLB teams miss the playoffs by a couple games. I’ve always wondered, ‘why in basketball do they play only 80-ish games in a season, yet half the league makes the playoffs? And in football, they play 16 weeks, and six teams from each conference make the playoffs.
In baseball, the teams play almost every single day. Shouldn’t more teams be rewarded for their hard work? I know it would be breaking tradition to change the playoff system but what would you think of it if they did?
I really should have given more information. It is a baseball and softball park, from tee ball to majors. The age group is 3 to 17. It is in a neighborhood where a lot of the kids have no where to go or nothing to do. It is a non-profit park. We just want to give the kids something to do while helping them to build up self-esteem and having someone to talk to if they need too. We really do have some very good teams and it helps them to be a part of something they can be proud of. Thanks for all the good answers and keep them coming!
I’ve looked everywhere; wal mart pac sun holister etc.

thanks.
I know this is not the best time in the world to notice this, but for some time now I’ve seen that soldiers in the US Army wear camouflage uniforms that seemingly have no indication of rank on either their sleeves, lapels, or the berets that have replaced the square baseball type hats of old. Am I just missing something, or is that now a security measure in order to protect the high ranking officers?
if a person in a penis mascot outfit was to fight a person in a baseball mascot outfit who would win ??
this may not seem like a serious question but how u anwser could change the rest of your life forever.
let me take u to a time where penis mascots roamed the earth they had to hide from the giant penisauraraus which was the only predator capable of capturing and killing a penis mascot.
The giant baseball mascot dates back to the age of none steroid useage in base ball where hank still hold the record for MOST HOME RUNS WITHOUT ASSISTANCE FROM PERFORMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS.
lets make this fight happen. i want to see blood coming out of the eye of your penis mascot. or beat the stitchs out of the baseball mascot whoever is the winner will be the mascot chmpion of the world.
How did they end up with an elephant holding a bat with its trunk standing on top of a baseball?
I was wondering what MLB teams have never played a game in Toronto. I am quite sure that this will be the Cincinatti Reds first ever trip to Toronto on Tuesday but I am not sure if there are others.
If someone has a link that says who hasn’t played baseball in Toronto and a link that says this is Cincinatti’s first trip to Toronto it would be greatly appreciated.
The baseball is signed by Bengie Molina and Rodriguez of the Anaheim Angels when they played here in Puerto Rico. With the baseball is my original seat ticket stub with.
It has the Anaheim Angels emblem official of MLB. The signature of Molina and Rodriguez is in blue ink. They played here in Puerto Rico when the Toronto Blue Jays were out of Toronto in 2003 and I want to know the value of it.
does anyone have a baseball slogan like "Ballin" for basketball?
Thanks
that is a good slogan. thanks
ok it doesnt have to be "cute" i just need a really good idea.
