I think it's just a general silhouette of a baseball player getting ready to hit the ball—I never thought that it was a specific player. I think it's supposed to be all-encompassing because otherwise it'd favor certain players, and some people might complain that there is bias toward certain races or racism going on, and things would get pretty complicated. Also if your goal is to be a baseball player, you don't have to think that all baseball players look a certain way.

Yes it is someone, it is baseball leagend and Hall Of Famer Harmon "The Killer" Killebrew. His family lives off of the money that they get from that logo.
