When I lived in Rochester, NY, I was a season ticket holder for the Red Wings (now the Twins AAA team). I loved it, and got to meet some up and coming stars on their way to the bigs. They also had some great food and cold beer. Now that I live in Texas, I occasionally see the Ft. Worth Cats. Tickets are only $4.00 and the food and beer AND baseball is still high quality. As for the majors, I live 5 miles from the Rangers Ballpark. I attend 12-15 games a year, too.

I'm an avid baseball fan and have seen games in many stadiums around the US--from Yankee Stadium to Candlestick and lots in between.

I root for them but by no means do I check the stats all the time and look at the scores. For the White Sox, the farm teams are in North Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee (they have three in North Carolina).

So it's kind of hard to keep up with the teams in Chicago. But I also root for the Kane County Cougars, single A affiliate of the Oakland A's, because they are the closest team to me.
