The Cubs play home games on the local high school baseball field in Chicago, Idaho (population 127) and the sox play all of their games on the road. The New York Mets have actually moved to the West coast like every other NY NL team and play in Sacramento now and the Yankees didn’t want to feel left out so they split their home games between New York and San Jose, CA.

Yes, both teams play their home games in Chicago, IL. The Cubs play at Wrigley Field, which is on the north side of Chicago. The White Sox play at U.S. Cellular Field, which is in the south side of Chicago. They have a big rivalry, it’s like a cross-town matchup that consists of six games, three of the games are played at Wrigley Field, the other three games are played at U.S. Cellular. Chicago is not a small city it’s a major populated City in the US. This works out because the Chicago Fire, and Chicago Bears both play at Soldier Field, Chicago Bulls and the Chicago Blackhawks both play at the United Center, so that leaves enough room for the two Chicago Baseball teams to have their own stadiums.Chicago can also have two baseball teams because it’s a major city that allows for enough people to be diveded on both sides much like the NY Yanks-NY Mets, and LA Dodgers and LA Angels.
