   Red Stockings (they actually have the same name as the Red Sox)…

   Red Stocking might have been old school, but it is now the Reds, nobody calls the NY Knicks the Knickerbockers, even though that was their name, just like no one calls them the Red Stockings, its the Reds.

   The mascot is a guy with a big baseball head on a uniformed body.

   Mr. Red is the mascot.

   Nickname is the ‘Red legs’. Red stockings quit being used back at the turn of the century.
