Okay I have a little bet with my brother. How many original Major League Baseball teams are still their original cities? By this I mean teams that were in the AL and NL the years the leagues were founded?

Here is what I have:

AL: Chicago White Sox, Boston Red Sox, NY Yankees, Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Indians.
NL: Chicago Cubs, Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds, St. Louis Cardinals.

I thought the Pittsburgh Pirates might be in there, they have been together many years. But no. They were started playing several years after the NL was founded.

My roommate and I would like to make t-shirts to support our other roommate who is a baseball player. He is a catcher and our team mascot is a Bobcat. The t-shirts will be worn by girls if that helps at all. We would like the shirts to be funny or catchy. Thanks!

the name of the team is the kekambas, we started a baseball team and we can’t find the jersey so we’re getting them made, but we need a print out of the logo so they can screen it.

The last 4 MLB expansion teams are of course The Arizona Diamondbacks, The Tampa Bay Devil Rays,The Colorado Rockies, and The Florida Marlins… this year the Diamondbacks have already made it to the post-season and, if a number of things go right for Colorado in the next few days in the thrill ride of the National League, the Rockies will as well… please remind me, would this be the first year that more than one of the aforementioned teams made it to October? If not, when did it happen before, and which teams were involved?

Does anyone know if there is a certain website out there or something where i can find the young money baseball hat with the logo that looks just like the Yankee one? I’ve been searching the internet and coming up short. Any advice would be great.

Our Logo is Cardington Pirates, we just recently had someone on our board imbezzle over 10,000 dollars from our organazation. She is being prosecuted and we have since formed a new board but that don’t help us now for we have no money in the youth account and we need at least 4,000 to start the season for 200 ball players ranging from the ages 5-14. It has to be something bold, strong, representing our community thats going to help our organization recover from this. Something that represents the boys and the community.

I am thinking about attending an ALCS game in Boston (Tampa Bay Rays vs. Boston Red Sox) and was wondering if anyone knows where the visiting teams stay in Boston when they play the Red Sox.
For those that don’t know, the Rays actually posted their road hotel locations in the 2007 media guide. I don’t have 2008 and can’t find it anywhere. So, I was hopeing someone had one and could let me know. Anyone have the 2008 media guide?

Sometime in the past 24 hours, the Rays traded Scott Kazmir to the Angels. However, the baseball trading deadline was weeks ago. Given that information, how can these teams make this trade?

It’s our senior year and we decided to make tshirts that we could wear to the football games. We made ones for baseball that said "our boys hit it hard." We’re wanting a catchy phrase similar to that, that implies something, but goes with football. Any suggestions??

I got this hat in 2007. When I was in baseball the Alb. Isotopes taught us how to play baseball better. When we got there, they gave us all hats. at the end of the day we got our hats and let them sign it. Well I didn’t get all the signatures of all the players. I only got about 13 signatures. its a red, black and white hat. I have not worn it and is in very good shape. There was a picture on it and it has the Alb. Isotopes emblem on it and some words that says triple-A all star fiesta 2007.

I’m trying to find a way to record which MLB baseball stadiums I’ve been too. I thought it would be cool to have a spoon collection. I know they have president and state spoon collections, just wondering if anyone heard of a MLB team collection?

I’m looking for the red socks with the blue logo and white outline. Jim Thome wore them when he was here and I believe they always wear them away. Someone has to have them!

If some of ‘em r, they should no that they pulled off a astonishin’ upset over the Dominicans, 3-2, last Sat. But I still have a strong skepticism of Holland being intrigued by this along w/ many European countries. I still remember a old Nike commercial w/ the slogan "Don’t like baseball? Move to Norway." U’no, I guess I do have 2 consider the Netherlands Antilles & Aruba regarding the Dutch baseball team. Of course, if all players from Holland & its territories have 2 play on 1 national team, shouldn’t the Puerto Ricans b playing for the U.S. team? One case in point is the U.K. Olympic team where the English, Welsh, N. Irish, & Scots play under one team. However in the World Cup, those four subdivisions can play separately.

I heard that if you sell the game with the case/booklet, Gamestop may give you a couple more dollars.
I also heard that you can choose between cash or "store credit" and that store credit will always be worth a little bit more than cash.
Are either of these things true?
